With their unique hybrid of norteño and electronica, Bostich, Fussible, Hiperboreal and Clorofila joined in 1999 to form the Nortec Collective. Their first two albums, two volumes of The Tijuana Sessions, were released as a collective, but recently its members have branched out to perform as Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich and Fussible, and as the recently released Nortec Collective Presents: Clorofila. So far, Tijuana’s unofficial cultural ambassadors have received two Latin Grammy nominations and continuous praise from music critics around the world.
