Describing their sound as “Jamiroquai meets Santana”, Los Amigos Invisibles set out to prove to the world that latin dance music doesn’t have to be salsa or merengue, and that the guitar wasn’t just for punk rock. After moving to Now York in 1996, the group were discovered by none other than David Byrne himself, who signed the band to his Luaka Bop label. Fourteen years and six albums later, the group have won a Latin Grammy and toured over 60 countries.
