Originally gaining fame within their own country for firebrand anthems like “Florecita Rockera”, Aterciopelados’ music is essentially a combination of singer Andrea Echeverri’s sometimes controversial lyrics and vocals with guitarist/producer/arranger Hector Buitrago’s far-reaching fusion of sounds from across Latin America and the globe.
