As in many cases of celebrity deaths, it’s always perfect timing for labels to take advantage of a trending (unfortunate) topic and release new material regarding the deceased’s works. With almost a month gone by of losing Jenni Rivera to a fatal plane crash, Fonovisa has announced an upcoming all-English-debut album recorded by Jenni Rivera in 2004. There’s not much information available about this forthcoming album yet — whether it will be originals or covers, or the exact date of release — other than Jenni Rivera’s strong desire to expand towards the English speaking market, á la Selena. We do wonder why her label didn’t release this album when it was recorded eight years ago, and how she’ll sound singing in English, but surely we’ll find out soon enough. Read more on Blogamole HERE.
