Cameos and interpretive dance abound in the latest video/single from Mexico City-based band Torreblanca. “Dejé de Ser Yo” is the third single off the group’s full-length debut Bella Epoca which they released last year. The song isn’t the lyrical whammy as others found on the album but it still packs a musical punch thanks, as usual, to catchy piano hooks and accordion lines.
The video is directed by none other than band leader Juan Manuel Torreblanca himself in his directorial debut and features cameos from a number of artists including Carla Morrison, Mood-Fu, and Zemmoa. This vid may also start some sort of “hair whip in slow motion” trend. What’s not to love?!
