Event Description

The 8th Annual Afropunk Festival comes to Commodore Barry Park this Saturday & Sunday.

Though last year’s festival was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene, Afropunk festival is back with a kickass lineup: Erykah Badu, Gym Class Heroes, Janelle Monae, Das Racist, Skindred, Toro Y Moi, Reggie Watts, Spank Rock, and more ! The festival will also host an array of food trucks including Remezcla-featured Mexicue, Mexican BBQ fusion, as well as a Thrift Market, and the Nike Battle for the Streets skate competition.
