Video: Quiero Club – “Días Perfectos”

Just when you thought summer and its pop anthems were over comes this incredibly catchy, made-for-summer tune from Quiero Club. “Días Perfectos” is the first single off the Monterrey quintet’s upcoming yet-to-be-titled album, which is due in March of 2012.

The word “carefree” doesn’t even begin to describe this song and video. The video shows the band escaping the banality of indoor spaces by breaking away into a beautiful, wooded area near a lake where they frolic freely to their hearts’ content. Meanwhile, lo-fi, spacey guitars float along driving bass and drum lines. Call me crazy but only a band like Quiero Club can deliver lines like “no he vuelto a amanecer ni un día sin saber que nada es importante” in a lighthearted, optimistic way.
