Coachella 2011: Meh.

Once again, Coachella (April 15-17th) doesn’t have much to offer on the Latino front. Sure, it’s ripe with Pitchfork-approved bands (Arcade Fire, Sleigh Bells, Ratatat, Crystal Castles, Animal Collective, to name a choice few), but the Latin side of things is looking thin, once again. Yet another Ozomatli festival set. Yet another Bomba Estéreo appearance. But a nice little Caifanes reunion has sprouted (also performing the week before Coachella at Vive Latino). It’s only the first round though, things might get Hispanifide.
